GMP CONSULTANCYThe Codex Alimentarius Commission advises
that minimum hygiene measures should be in place before HACCP is
implemented. The GMP system identifies the essential principles of

for different industries and sectors and amplify the hygiene
requirements specific to those areas. A GMP system covers the
manufacture, design, packaging, labeling, storage, delivery,

BRC CONSULTANCYThe British Retail Consortium (BRC)
is the lead trade association representing the whole range of
retailers, from the large department stores through to independents,
selling a wide selection of products through the centre of town, out of
town, rural and virtual stores. The BRC standard is,
therefore, a technical standard and protocol for companies supplying
retail branded food products. It is a comprehensive standard to cover
quality, hygiene and product safety. BRC is fully recognized by
the Global
Food Safety
Initiative (GFSI). The BRC consultancy

system, and subsequently to attain BRC certification. The program is

ISO 22000 CONSULTANCYThere is
an increase in the customer demand for safe food. This has lead food
processing companies to develop food safety management systems, which
are based on HACCP. ISO has undertaken the
development of an auditable standard, which further defines HACCP's
role in a food safety management system. This standard is not intended
to define the minimal regulatory requirement, however, it is intended
to define the requirements for companies that desire to exceed the
regulatory requirements for food safety. This
International standard specifies the requirements for a food safety
management system that combines the following generally recognized key

ISO 9001 CONSULTANCYISO
9000 is a generic name given to a family of standards developed to

continual improvement as an important step to enhance quality
management system (QMS). It also has an emphasis
on the role of top management, which includes its commitment to the

WORKPLACE SAFETY CONSULTANCYRisk management is a process by which the management assesses the risks, determines the control measures, and takes appropriate actions to reduce such risks. All applicable workplaces (as stated in the Workplace Safety and Health Act) must conduct risk assessments to identify the source of risks and shall take all reasonably practicable steps to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who may be affected by the undertaking in the workplace. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT SERVICESResearch and development services are available to provide companies with external expertise on creating new products and/ or improving their existing products, troubleshooting problems regarding products and processes, and conducting evaluation at an independent level.
TESTING/ LABORATORY SERVICESServices on the arrangement of samples collection for external laboratory testing are available. Follow-up actions such as analysis of laboratory reports, advice and trouble-shooting are also provided.
LABORATORY SET-UP SERVICESLaboratory set-up services are provided to assist companies towards an established in-house laboratory. Services include laboratory set-up training, laboratory on-site technical advice and support.
AVA LICENSING SERVICESServices include gauging compliance of building and facilities design against HACCP and legal requirements, providing technical advisory and submission of documents to AVA.
